This Is My Muddy Life

In 2015 I signed up for my first Tough Mudder race. I was hooked. As I did more Tough Mudders, I wanted to up the stakes. Finally, in December 2022, I learned that the World’s Toughest Mudder would be held in Granbury, TX. 

There wasn’t going to be a better opportunity for me to do this race. I’m not getting any younger, and there’s no telling when they will bring the event back to Texas, so I signed up. 

Why would a 30-something dad entrepreneur living on his wife’s family farm want to sign up for something like that?! 

Because when this life is tough, we’ve got to be tough back.

This is my journey preparing to run 50 miles in the toughest obstacle course race in the world while being a dad and building a business.
