How lab testing keeps us healthy
Some people make an easy living saying things that are not true. Strict testing by verifiably independent and state-accredited labs make sure those people take the nonsense elsewhere.
Life Leaf Remedies is a new company created by not-so-new members of the hemp revolution. Back then, we earned trust one person at a time.
Our hemp oil and terpenes had to come from hemp grown organically in the United States of America by American hemp farmers, free from pesticides, herbicides, or any -cide. The American farmer has and will always be the backbone of this country as it was meant to be—for everyone. We maintain those values. When you see that we back them up with practices, we hope that’s enough to earn your trust.
Then comes testing. We could shorten our explanation. Most others do. (But think about it, if an online store is stingy with words, are they stingy with actions, too?) Here’s the process:
- At harvest – A portion of the hemp biomass is removed and tested for heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, mycotoxins, THC levels, and potency.
- At extraction – If our hemp is approved, we transfer the biomass to a regulated facility where we extract CBD isolate, broad spectrum hemp oil, and full spectrum hemp oil. Third party labs independently collect samples of our newly extracted hemp oil and test for residual solvents, mycotoxins, heavy metals, pesticides, THC levels, and potency.
- At product – Once we’ve been given a clean bill of health for our hemp oil, we start formulating our products. All of our products are compounded and formulated in the same FDA-registered food facility in North Texas owned by us. Now, we hand over our completed products to another accredited laboratory. This laboratory conducts a final set of tests to verify potency and purity.
